Hobbit Carb Placement and Options

Hey chumps, it's been a while.

I've been riding around a Hobbit with a 19mm PHBG hanging off the side. Works okay. No reserve on the petcock though.

I want that super-stock Hobbit look. All the panels on, etc. I went for the Malossi intake and a 17mm PHBG. I got it all installed and hit some issues.

* How the heck am i supposed to run the throttle cable?

* Should I use that Malossi short top thing?

* Cut a channel in the frame and weld a brace in?

* Give up?

Ohh, cut out the air box top. :P (edited)

Re: Hobbit Carb Placement and Options

Don't use the bendy on the throttle cable, use the flat plastic piece. I ran a 19mm phbg with the malossi intake in a stock position for a while before using some radiator hose to sidemount it.
