What head? 50cc treats kit

Wesley Ambrosini /

Za50

Tecno circuit

Treats 50cc for the people kit

Had a hi hi head on it, was getting badass bottom end but it didn't want to pull after the shift

Just kinda hung on at 5500k maybe 6000k

Slapped a stock head on there marginal bottom end loss but nice top end gains.

Getting mid to high 30s now

Any better heads out there for this kit?

I have a hi torque magnum head, but I gotta shave the fins to get it to fit with the circuit pipe..

Is it just time to get a big boy 70cc kit?

Ditch that junk pipe and you'll do better, but a stock head should be fine on there

Doesn't seem to be a lot of options for pipes that allow you to keep the pedals, aren't made for super high revs, and are under $200

Bend your pedal arm, or get a Magnum pedal shaft.

Re: What head? 50cc treats kit

gearing?

Re: What head? 50cc treats kit

Tecno pipe is good enough, it has a power band, isn’t too loud and clears pedals. Maybe check your timing? Points gap on a za50 is .45-.5mm, timing is between 1.1-1.5mm max advance.

Re: What head? 50cc treats kit

Wesley Ambrosini /

Gearing is at 18-37. It can barely pull 20-37 after the shift

I haven't checked to see if the gap drifted in the past few months, timing is right at 16mm (on the flywheel) checked with a light

Mid high thirties on a 50cc is sick for me I just want more balls in the mids

Re: What head? 50cc treats kit

16* is not the measurement of mm I was referring to. That’s pretty retarded timing for a low rev 50cc set up. I would try around 20*

I bumped up (down?) to 20* still cruising pretty cool at 250*f with an 8 plug

Way cooler than the hi hi head
