A3 45mm 70cc Alukit, SHA 15:15 main jet size?

I recently purchased Treatland's Tomos A3 "Largest Kit in the Lands". It's basically a 45mm A35 cylinder with and specific A3 45mm piston and 10mm wrist pin (which I am upgrading to a needle bearing). I also got a Tecno Boss pipe for it. I'm using a Dellorto SHA 15:15.

My question is, what's a good main jet size to start tuning the carb with?

I can't lead you to correct jetting, bit I can tell you that the Tecno boss is not a good pipe for that setup.

It's great for a stock setup to gain some power, but it's not really made for kitted bikes. It'll be ok for now, but a circuit or estoril would be a good upgrade for the future. Especially the estoril...I'm biased

What intake did you upgrade to. The stock one is only 12mm isn't it??

Start in the mid 80's, work down. Most of the a35 reed cylinder builds with sha carbs I've put together end up in the mid to high 70's, 76-78 main.

Air filter make a big difference on there too

How are you doing a 10mm needle bearing?

I got the needle bearing from Treatland. Top Needle Bearing

For now I upgraded to the A3 15mm. I plan on running a bigger later, but for now this should do.

As far as the pipe goes, it's a decent expansion chamber, and it's certainly better than the stock exhaust. I have a larger volume expansion chamber (pictured), that I intend on welding up sometime after the first leg of work is done.

You think an 84 is large enough to start off with? It's the largest one I have right now.
