Garelli - Bing - Dellorto - More air more power??

This will contain many questions - all which i would love to hear personal experience and/or advice.

My 70cc Garelli ssxl with a 15mm bing and a 26 tooth rear sprocket was hitting a top of about 41 mph. and a slug off the line due to the 26 tooth. In reality I should be able to hit 40 MPH on this with a 32 rear sprocket no problem, which would fix my off the line issue.

I just put on a MLM sidebleed and was sad to see that I actually lost top end and gained little/no low end.

My thoughts - I need to go bigger on the carb and intake. I am considering putting on 19mm PHBG and a 19mm intake. However I know NOTHING about the jetting on a Dellorto. is it that bad? I've heard it's complicated.

Vs the Bing I have really grown to like the simplicity and know the jetting decently. along with have collected a rang of jets over time. I could do a 19mm Bing clone but don't know if an expensive $110 clone is a good idea.

PLUS it is already pretty uncommon to run a Bing on a Garelli.

Should I just bite the bullet and go for the 19mm Dellorto?

Will getting more air/gas into the engine make me see more performance out of that pipe?

cut off about 4" of your header, reclamp and weld a bracket to hang.

Work on your tuning the skills they could be a little better if you did some research like reading things or you can just walk down the street and ask everyone you meet

Tuning is off. I ran 10/36 on one of my Garelli's with a Polini kit, MLM side bleed, weakends intake and vm20 I hit 38mph. I built another bike for someone with same kit, minarelli intake, phbg 19.5, custom cut head for kit, pietcard CDI, Polini country pipe and 11/32 gearing. I'd did 51.
