Vespa Malossi clutch bell issues

Anyone got one? Problems? Installed mine and it won't turn when nut is tight? Looks like some interference .

do you have that spacer on the back? also check that the engine is square with the frame

The malossi bell is not perfect. I think the length of the shaft mounting portion is a little long and needs to be filed down a bit.

If it's binding when tightened, it means the bell is either pulling against the the clutch assy itself, or you've pinched the starter shoes in there.

Clutch bell doesn't come anywhere near the frame.

They're quite a bit lighter than stock, and much stronger. I'll be grabbing a few of these once I can get a handle on some stock

On my cnc bell from treats with the euro clutch the stater clutch bell was rubbing against the clutch bell causing it not to spin when tightened down.

Here’s the weight difference from stock to the malossi from Vespa-ciao.nl

Solved with a thin machine washer yup a euro clutch.
