Whoa these clutch covers are esp. cool. Great thread A+ stuff... I'm hopeful someone will do a clear clutch cover like the Simson guys have been doing.

Re: Puch maxi Track toy

I have made a extended clutch cover once, but the capacity is probably much as a kickstart cluth cover, so in my opinion, not worth it if you dont use the run-start

Clear covers.., if someone knows what plastic or glas i need to use, i want to make one (edited)

Just print out the 2 pieces and insert a round of bullet proof glass . It could be done over night . ;)

Maybe use a better material ?

Re: Puch maxi Track toy

See through so you can watch your clutch explode in real time lol

yess, fun, isn't it? , but serieus, i dont think theyre going to allow this on track, if something fails inside, oil is all over the track :(

like what?, dont know the exact oil temperature, we are using 500ml oil instead of 200, so you dont cook your oil.

Re: Puch maxi Track toy

Maybe one of these ?

Do you have a cnc mill?

Re: Puch maxi Track toy

How do you keep your oil from coming out of the top vent hole on the e50? Whenever my oil gets hot it starts coming up out of the vent hole, and that is with close to the stock amount of oil.

Just make those port hole windows available for us to buy once you figure it all out.

we use catch cans, so drill the vent hole, put some thread in there, with a hose to the catch can.

Re: Puch maxi Track toy

Yeah you don’t even have to tap it really, I was having this problem at the track so I just drilled it out and shoved some 3/16 fuel line in and ran the hose up under my seat, no more problems.

Re: Puch maxi Track toy

Both excellent ideas, I will look into it as it would be nice to run a little extra oil. Is there no concern about pressure building up inside the cases if the vent is then closed up in the catch system? Sorry Sander not trying to thread jack.

Re: Puch maxi Track toy

Has to be open otherwise it will blow oil out the seals. (edited)
