Sachs intake for reed kit

I’ve got a guy at work I’m getting a Sachs from. Not totally sure on model yet, but already looking at upgrades. I don’t see on treats where there is an intake for the small reed kit aside from what comes with it. Did a quick search here and nothing seemed to turn up either. Is the short intake for the kit actually decent? Or should I look into making something myself?

Re: Sachs intake for reed kit

Post a link for the kit or intake you are talking about.

You'll be having a funeral for your clutch in no time.

False flag

Re: Sachs intake for reed kit

Sachs guys perpetuate the clutch myth

Re: Sachs intake for reed kit

Depending on the frame and angle you want your carb will determine which intake will fit.... you will probably end up making one tho the ones it comes with are 100% not going to fit 3000% of the time

Re: Sachs intake for reed kit

it's the same as the small reed athena intake for puchs but the intakes it comes with are fine. I think I modified one from a puch polini intake but it was a while ago, arent those roughly interchangeable?

It just kinda pokes straight up and away from the cylinder, a curved piece of hose and a spigot mount carb work well on it
