Polini PKW 24 carb!?

Ok, howwwww the fuck is everyone jetting this carb!? It’s relation to the CP series seems like that of a Mikuni vm18 vs Mikuni vm20, totally different atomizers so they jet miles apart!? Or am I having some other issue?

The stock idle is a 45, 30 still seems incredibly rich on a 76cc V1 BRN

105 main was way rich, yes 85 seems no different!?

Rebuilt v1 with a Pietcard timed at 1.6mm btdc

Halp!

Nobody?

Overpriced Parts /

Don’t compare piston port kit jetting to reed induction kit jetting

Piston port kits can take way less size jet

Ya, so that doesn’t answer the question I posted at all, but ahh ok?

Where did you even get anything about comparative jetting between PP and RV? HAve you lost it Ken?

Andy, I have a comparative jetting chart for Keihin/Mik/Dell jetting sizes saved on my home PC, I will search for it when I get outta work. It's not perfect, but it definitely helped me get my 24PWK dialed on the Cagiva before it got stoled.

I wanted to say RIP, but some schmuck is legit riding it dirty in LI as we speak.

I appreciate that, the idle or “slow jet” just seems low, I mean I get that it likely comes with a large stock jet, the 45, but there was no change when we dropped down to 30, I bet your chart will help me wrap my head around it more

And I hope you get your bike back!
