Peddy Cash is Chicago's branch of the Moped Army, founded by Curt Cameruci and Patrick Turner in 2003. Having a crew thats as diverse as Chicago's different neighborhoods, Peddy Cash embraces its city's urban enviroment and its setting. Punk kids, ex-bike messengers, skateboarders, art school kids, and hip hoppers are just some of the types that make up the crew. These members make Peddy Cash more of a lifestyle crew such as The Hundreds, Brown Babies, or the Z-boys. They are always able to turn heads with their commitment to riding every possible chance during Chicago's warm months. Peddy Cash is a forward thinking and constantly evolving gang with a primary goal of progression and re-invention within the Moped Army.
Peddy Cash was featured in the Chicago Tribune before the BlingBQ, their first moped rally. The name of the rally is play on the crew's moniker and urban appeal. In 2006, they had a commercial filmed for the event. They have also been featured in The Cool Hunter, The Tripwire, UR MAGAZINE, and Timeout Chicago. Some of the members of Peddy Cash are using this media attention to start producing clothing and other wares.
