The Puch Korado was designed by Piaggio after the Puch name was sold to them in the 1990s.

The Korado engine was a modernized and improved version of a normal e50. It had a needle bearing crank, a 12v CDI, large transfer ports and a three shoe centrifugal clutch. These engines are highly sought after,
