Community sites are websites like this one that provide a gather and information sharing place for moped enthusiasts. Sometimes they are for all moped riders, others are organized by region or brand.
By Brand
- A decent, if not very active, forum on Honda moped and scooter discussion.
- A Jawa community site complete with forum hosted in the Netherlands. There doesn't seem to be an English language version. Update:To get English version type English in upper right hand side where it says Zoeklem then hit the search in the right of box, then look about middle of next page for red text, Jawa Evergreen English. Click on that.
- A frame number database, the complete Kreidlersong in an MP3, a forum, and more. This is a great community site for Kreidler owners.
Mabecane's Mobylette Corner Forum
- A Motobecane only forum, everything you need to know about Motobecane mopeds.
- The German-speaking Vespa moped forum that also hosts repair information and a great archive of repair manuals.
- Forum for NSU Quickly owners / enthusiasts in German and English. Find or discuss useful information to get your NSU Quickly back on track.
- A Dutch Puch Maxi community, everything you need to know, just ask it here...
- I can't read a word of it since it's in Japanese, but this seems to be the best moped site in Japan. It's mostly about Tomos, but covers all mopeds in Tokyo and has a lot of community oriented features. Check out the extra sections, and in particular the Tokyo Moped Watch.
- Although the name implies that it is for Americans, this forum's 800 members are worldwide, with many daily posts from not only the US and Canada, but England, Germany, France and others as well.
There is a Files section with a lot of Solex information posted, a photo section, and archive of all old posts, and a calendar of events.
- Forum for owners of Tomos mopeds.
- This Velosolex forum is based in Germany. There is an English/French section, but most members can speak English. The members are very friendly and knowledgeable.
- A Netherlands-based site dedicated to the Vespa Ciao
- Dutch forum with all the info you need on the Sears Puch models plus the Tomos equivalent (3L ,4L and such) . In Dutch, but people will answer your questions in English. Super friendly people...

- The biggest moped forum in the Netherlands. With lots of know-how and experienced users. You will start out in the beginnersforum (BeF), but after 2 weeks you get full posting rights.
- This is a forum hosted by the folks at ScooterBBS.com.
- A Moped Army IRC channel has been founded at irc.freenode.net. The channel name is #mopedarmy.
- German moped forum. Looks like it a lively community for German speaking moped riders.
- This is a great moped community site.
- They call themselves a forum for all moped enthusiasts, but they also host repair information and a great archive of repair manuals. Scanned manuals like these are a great resource.
- One of the best moped websites on the Internet. Tons of information, photos and classifieds. Definitely check this one out. Note: this used to be moped.org
- A Canadian oriented moped site that deals with Canadian laws as well as tips and advice for all moped owners.
- We're a well-known Dutch moped and scooter forum. The forum is in Dutch only (except for one English board) but there is a user/repair/parts/manual section. Downloads are free, but there's a 5 file limit which resets to zero weekly. The only thing the forum asks is that you register yourself first . Most manuals are in English, unless stated otherwise. Enjoy !

Not Mopeds, But...
- This Yahoo group is dedicated to the 3-wheeled scooters/mopeds that lean thru curves. These include the Ariel 3, Daihatsu Hallo, and the Honda Gyro. Some of these aren't really mopeds, but they will be of interest to most moped fans.
For Scooterists
- This site does have a moped-specific forum (listed above) but the scooter forums are worth a mention here as well for any closeted scooter enthusiasts out there.
