Talk:White gas

Question about definition's completeness/validity

"White gas" in common usage usually refers to a type of camp stove fuel. According to wikipedia it's mostly made up of parafins and naptha, although many so-called white gas stoves can also burn kerosene. I have been told that warnings against using "white gas" in mopeds were referring to kerosene... are we sure about this definition? --Lankybits 01:40, 18 August 2006 (EDT)

In Fred's Guide he defines is at "like Colemen fuel" which gives some credence to your definition and makes the current article suspect. The wikipedia entry further validates this claim. --Simon 08:03, 18 August 2006 (EDT)
